Meet Rylie
Rylie Harrison is the maker behind Harrison Woodworks. We make furniture and cabinetry for everyday use, with a focus on timber and the details that make each piece work.
You’ll deal directly with us throughout the job. We work with sustainably sourced and recycled Australian hardwoods, as well as veneers and cabinet finishes, depending on what we’re making.
Process
How it works
An idea, a photograph or a rough sketch is enough to start. We’ll talk through the job before you commit to detailed design work.
Tell us your ideas
Tell us what you’d like made, the space it’s for and your budget. We’ll help you work out the next step.
Design and quote
For custom builds, we use CAD drawings so we can settle the design together. Once you’re happy with it, we’ll provide the final quote.
Build and complete
Once you approve the design and quote and pay the build deposit, we’ll start making your project. We’ll agree on timing and any installation before work begins.
About the design stage
A non-refundable CAD design deposit is required before detailed drawings begin. It includes three design iterations. Once the design is locked in, the CAD cost is credited against the final project price.

Before you enquire
Do I need drawings or a finished design?
No. An idea, a few measurements and a photo or sketch are enough to get started. We’ll talk through the options with you.
Can I request a smaller job?
Yes. Smaller furniture and cabinetry jobs are welcome. Send us the details and we’ll let you know how we can help.
What affects the price?
Size, materials, finish, hardware and the work involved. We’ll talk about your budget and the options before detailed design begins.
How soon can work start?
We’re available for new projects. We’ll agree a start date once the design, quote and materials are confirmed.
